With the win, Shadow Creek upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Sharks host Alvin (Alvin, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 8-14. Alvin lost 67-38 in their recent league bout against Pearland (Pearland, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Alief Elsik will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 3-13 record after their 48-40 league loss to Alief Taylor (Houston, TX).
