The Cougars now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick County for a Three Rivers battle on Wednesday, January 10. Alleghany will confront a Cougars team coming off a 63-57 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.

The Cavaliers (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights come into the Three Rivers battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, James River dropped by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 81-38, in a league battle.
