Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 71-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Sonora upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to clash with the Bullfrogs in a Mother Lode League bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bullfrogs go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Bret Harte lost 70-57 in their recent league bout against Argonaut (Jackson, CA)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Summerville Bears (Tuolumne, CA) in a Mother Lode League bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Amador will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 65-58 league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA).
