Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 77-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA) to play the Vikings in a WPIAL 4A 2 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Bridgers play the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Ambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 75-56 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA).
