The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Lions go into the 3A Region III District 22 outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Kountze smashed East Chambers (Winnie, TX), 72-23, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin for a 3A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Kirbyville will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 66-36 league loss to Buna (Buna, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 7-13.
