Cornerstone Christian Academy Cougars (Fayetteville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Antioch Christian Academy Gators (Lumberton, NC), 75-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cornerstone Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Temple Christian (Rockingham, NC) to play the Tigers in a Carolinas Christian bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Gators play the Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC) in a Carolinas Christian bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Antioch Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 54-43 league win over Temple Christian (Rockingham, NC).
