The Madison Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Ardmore Tigers to 17 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairview for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Madison Academy will battle a Aggies team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 9-10.
The Tigers (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Elkmont (Elkmont, AL). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Elkmont was routed by Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL), 64-27, in a league contest.
