Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 67-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Arlington upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Colts host South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 19-5. South Grand Prairie won 74-53 in their recent league bout against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX)
Next up, the Volunteers clash with the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Buffalos go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 58-54 league win over Martin (Arlington, TX).
