The Ashland Oredockers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Spooner Rails to 36 in the Oredockers league triumph on Friday.
The Oredockers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Ashland will meet a Warriors team coming off a 43-33 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
The Rails (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomer (Bloomer, WI). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Bloomer ran past Fall Creek (Fall Creek, WI), 73-65, in a league contest.
