The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting B O L D Warriors to 57 in the Mainstreeters non-league victory on Friday.
The Mainstreeters now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montevideo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Sauk Centre will battle a Thunderhawks team coming off a 60-59 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 7-4.
The Warriors (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta dropped by Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN), 74-58, in a non-league contest.
