Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), 66-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Baldwyn upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bearcats host Jumpertown (Booneville, MS) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Jumpertown lost 80-71 in their recent non-league bout against Chiles (Tallahassee, FL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Amory Christian Academy (Amory, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Tremont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 102-61 non-league loss to Leake Academy (Madden, MS).
