North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke knocked off by Bandys

The Bandys Trojans basketball team scored 65 points and held the host East Burke Cavaliers to 55 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincolnton for a 2A Catawba Valley contest on Tuesday, January 9. Bandys will meet a Wolves team coming off a 71-67 league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 10-2.

The Cavaliers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils enter the 2A Catawba Valley contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Newton-Conover ran past Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 71-67, in a league contest.
