The Banks Braves (Banks, OR) basketball crushed the host Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR), 65-42 in Friday's league test.
The Braves (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR). The Pirates go into the 3A Coastal Range test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Neah-Kah-Nie walloped Riverdale (Portland, OR), 57-38, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Rainier for a 3A Coastal Range test on Tuesday, January 9. Corbett will encounter a Columbians squad coming off a 61-37 league loss to Warrenton (Warrenton, OR). The Columbians record now stands at 1-12.
