Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA), 70-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lincoln (San Jose, CA) to play the Lions in a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Lincoln won 87-53 in their recent non-league bout against James Lick (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Design Tech Dragons (Redwood City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to Oceana (Pacifica, CA).
