Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Snake River Panthers (Blackfoot, ID) and the visiting Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID), saw Snake River's basketball squad wallop Bear Lake by a count of 57-25.

With the victory, Snake River upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Bears play the West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) in a 2A South East Idaho challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Bear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Firth (Firth, ID).
