With the win, Beauregard upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Valley (Valley, AL) to clash with the Rams in a 5A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Valley won 69-28 in their recent non-league bout against Lanett (Lanett, AL)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) in a 1A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Notasulga will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 51-41 non-league loss to Jemison (Jemison, AL).
