Beechcroft Cougars (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Columbus International Lions (Columbus, OH), 74-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Beechcroft upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Glenville (Cleveland, OH) to play the Tarblooders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Tarblooders go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Glenville lost 66-27 in their recent non-league bout against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)

Next up, the Lions play the Centennial Stars (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Columbus International will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 71-47 non-league loss to Horizon Science Academy (Columbus, OH).
