The Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Bell Blue Raiders (Hurst, TX), 81-77 in Friday's league test.
The Kangaroos (14-8) will now prepare for their test against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region I District 3 test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, North Crowley got by Boswell (Fort Worth, TX), 48-39, in a league test.
The Blue Raiders now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Boswell for a 6A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, January 9. Bell will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 48-39 league loss to North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-10.
