Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH), 64-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Harrison Central upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Cambridge (Cambridge, OH) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Cambridge lost 79-68 in their recent league bout against Beaver (Lisbon, OH)

Next up, the Big Reds play the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) in a Buckeye 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Bellaire will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 54-47 league loss to Union Local (Belmont, OH).
