Iowa High School Basketball - West Hancock can't hold off Bishop Garrigan

The Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting West Hancock Eagles to 52 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Bears now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belmond-Klemme for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Bishop Garrigan will battle a Broncos team coming off a 78-40 league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-9.
The Eagles (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs enter the North Iowa contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Mills nudged Forest City (Forest City, IA), 76-57, in a league contest.
