The Blackduck Drakes basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears to 50 in the Drakes league triumph on Friday.

The Drakes now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laporte for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Blackduck will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 80-43 non-league loss to Bagley (Bagley, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.

The Bears (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roseau (Roseau, MN). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Roseau ran past Frazee (Frazee, MN), 74-52, in a non-league contest.
