The Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD), 86-76 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Rockville went down by Damascus (Damascus, MD), 66-32, in a league test.
The Bengals now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Springbrook for a Montgomery 4A/3A East test on Monday, January 8. Blake will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 77-62 league loss to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
