Texas High School Basketball - Leonard edges Blue Ridge

The Leonard Tigers (Leonard, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX), 42-35 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 3-14 record.

The Tigers now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Howe for a 3A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, January 9. Blue Ridge will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-41 league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-6.
