Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD), 70-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brandon Valley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lynx host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to play the Spartans in a AA bout on Friday, January 12. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Spearfish lost 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hill City (Hill City, SD)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, January 12. Brookings will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
