The South Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Briggs Bruins to 45 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hilliard Bradley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. South will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 55-38 league win over Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-2.
The Bruins (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, OH). The Warriors enter the Columbus City - South contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Eastmoor Academy was outscored by Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH), 67-34, in a non-league contest.
