Georgia High School Basketball - Buford fells Mountain View

January 5, 2024: Buford, GA 30518

Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 81-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Buford upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to play the Hawks in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Mill Creek won 69-58 in their recent league bout against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA)

Next up, the Bears play the Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 89-23 league win over Fulton Leadership Academy (East Point, GA).
