East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the win, East Granby upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Crusaders host Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a North Central Connecticut bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Stafford lost 59-37 in their recent league bout against Granby Memorial (Granby, CT)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 58-57 league win over East Windsor (East Windsor, CT).
