Texas High School Basketball - Pottsboro knocked off by Celina

The Celina Bobcats basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Pottsboro Cardinals to 54 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anna for a 4A Region II District 11 contest on Friday, January 12. Celina will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 72-44 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Dallas, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-11.
The Cardinals (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Bells ran past Bonham (Bonham, TX), 51-34, in a league contest.
