With the win, Wells upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, TX) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Martinsville lost 47-46 in their recent league bout against Laneville (Laneville, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Kennard Tigers (Kennard, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 58-46 league loss to Neches (Neches, TX).
