With the victory, Meridian improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Pana (Pana, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Pana lost 50-37 in their recent league challenge against Staunton (Staunton, IL)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Central A & M will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 55-39 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IL).
