The Charleston Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Danville Little Johns to 58 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedarville for a 3A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Charleston will battle a Pirates team coming off a 57-27 league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 5-12.
The Little Johns (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Magazine (Magazine, AR). The Rattlers come into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Magazine was defeated by Valley Christian (Russellville, AR), 45-40, in a non-league contest.
