The Charleston Tigers basketball team (Charleston, MS), was overwhelmed 63-36 in Friday's league battle with the host North Side Gators (Shelby, MS)
The Gators now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a 2A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 9. North Side will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-68 league loss to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-6.
The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against O'Bannon (Greenville, MS). The Greenwaves come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, O'Bannon was overwhelmed by Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS), 65-39, in a league battle.
