Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Chartiers Valley ripped by South Fayette

The South Fayette Lions basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts to 38 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knoch for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. South Fayette will meet a Knights team coming off a 63-30 league win over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Knights record now stands at 8-2.

The Colts (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers enter the WPIAL 5A 4 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Moon Area triumphed over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 73-60, in a league contest.
