The Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD), 58-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Jaguars go into the Montgomery 4A West test with a 5-4 record.
The Coyotes now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Seneca Valley for a Montgomery 4A West test on Monday, January 8. Clarksburg will encounter a Screamin' Eagles squad coming off a 64-51 league loss to Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Screamin' Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
