The Houston Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Concordia Lutheran Crusaders to 80 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Awty International for a Southwest Prep - South contest on Tuesday, January 9. Houston Christian will battle a Rams team coming off a 69-56 non-league loss to Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX). The Rams record now stands at 6-7.

The Crusaders (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas Catholic (Houston, TX). The Eagles come into the TAPPS 6A District 2 contest with a 9-10 record.
