The Concordia Cardinals basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Summit Christian Academy Eagles to 25 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin Waldorf for a TAPPS 2A District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Concordia will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 70-26 league loss to San Juan Diego Catholic (Austin, TX). The Roadrunners record now stands at 4-8.

The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against San Juan Diego Catholic (Austin, TX). The Saints enter the TAPPS 2A District 5 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, San Juan Diego Catholic triumphed over Austin Waldorf (Austin, TX), 70-26, in a league contest.
