With the win, Coolidge upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Bynum (Bynum, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Bynum won 42-37 in their recent league bout against Avalon (Avalon, TX)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 77-48 league loss to Milford (Milford, TX).
