With the victory, Lake Holcombe upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Gilman (Gilman, WI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Gilman lost 46-24 in their recent league bout against Loyal (Loyal, WI)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Thorp Cardinals (Thorp, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Cornell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 65-41 league loss to Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI).
