In Friday's league outing, the Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX), by a margin of 57-50.

The Cavaliers (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 3A District 1 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Temple Christian was tipped by Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX), 72-33, in a league outing.

The Chargers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Fellowship Academy for a TAPPS 3A District 1 outing on Saturday, January 6. Trinity will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-25 league loss to Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-15.
