The Cowboys now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knippa for a 1A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, January 9. D'Hanis will confront a Crushers team coming off a 51-42 league win over Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Crushers record now stands at 13-6.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Utopia (Utopia, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 1A Region IV District 31 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Utopia trounced D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX), 58-51, in a league battle.
