The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC) basketball nipped the host Dillon Christian Warriors (Dillon, SC), 71-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC). The Cavaliers go into the SCISA AA Region I test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Calhoun Academy was tipped by Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC), 44-31, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Marlboro Academy for a SCISA AA Region III test on Tuesday, January 9. Dillon Christian will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 56-38 non-league loss to Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC). The Dragons record now stands at 5-5.
