Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) and the host Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK), saw Dimond's basketball squad hold off Ketchikan by a tally of 72-71.

With the victory, Dimond improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Service (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Service lost 52-48 in their recent non-league challenge against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

Next up, the Kings confront the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Ketchikan will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
