Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN), 72-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fillmore Central upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Falcons travel to Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN) to play the Wolverines in a A Section 1 bout on Monday, January 8. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Glenville-Emmons lost 67-54 in their recent league bout against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Saturday, January 6. Dover-Eyota will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 54-50 league loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN).
