Washington High School Basketball - Eastmont can't hold off Sunnyside

The Sunnyside Grizzlies basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Eastmont Wildcats to 56 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest on Saturday, January 6. Sunnyside will battle a Pirates team coming off a 84-27 league win over Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA). The Pirates record now stands at 10-1.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eisenhower (Yakima, WA). The Cadets enter the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Eisenhower nudged Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA), 68-65, in a league contest.
