The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Edmund Burke Academy Spartans to 43 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinewood Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 50-39 league win over Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-3.
The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, David Emanuel Academy was nudged by Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA), 74-36, in a league contest.
