The Empowering Others Prep Kings basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Universal Academy to 54 in the Kings non-league victory on Friday.

The Kings now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeastern Prep Academy Coastal for a Freelance contest on Saturday, January 6. Empowering Others Prep will battle a Falcons team coming off a 70-66 league win over Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine (Auburndale, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.

The (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes (Carrollton, TX). The Storm come into the TAIAO contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes prevailed over Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX), 74-73, in a non-league contest.
