Michigan High School Basketball - Shrine Catholic can't hold off Everest Collegiate

The Everest Collegiate basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Shrine Catholic Knights to 50 in the league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney Catholic for a Catholic Intersectional I contest on Tuesday, January 9. Everest Collegiate will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 70-64 league loss to Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.
The Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights enter the Catholic Intersectional I contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, University Liggett nudged Roeper (Birmingham, MI), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
