The Faith Christian Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Donoho for a 1A Area 8 contest on Monday, January 8. Faith Christian will battle a Falcons team coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL). The Falcons record now stands at 3-11.

The Raiders (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ranburne (Ranburne, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Area 9 contest with a 4-11 record.
