The Farragut Admirals (Knoxville, TN) basketball nipped the host Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN), 62-59 in Friday's non-league test.
The Admirals (6-12) will now prepare for their test against West (Knoxville, TN). The Rebels go into the 4A District 4 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, West was tipped by Alcoa (Alcoa, TN), 69-59, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Powell for a 4A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 9. Karns will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 13-1.
