With the victory, Fort Defiance improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a Shenandoah challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Little Giants come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Waynesboro lost 72-46 in their recent league challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Riverheads will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 70-59 league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA).
